Breakdowns If your car breaks down, we can help you on the side of the road with a diagnosis, and can usually get you going again. If the problem is more serious, we can arrange a tow on a transporter. COST: $45.00 + GST covers the first half-hour of labour. A callout fee may be charged, depending on how far away the car is, and a $25.00 van charge is charged on every job. Back to top

Engine Tune A tune up helps to keep your engine running at its best, with economy, performance and reliability. COST: $86.00 + parts + GST (4 cylinder engine) Back to top

Lube Service Oil, the life blood of the engine. We use high quality semi-synthetic oils by Valvoline and Pennzoil. A good quality oil is important for helping to reduce internal engine wear that occurs at start up, and high temperatures. COST: $60.00 + oil and Ryco oil filter + GST. A Service (10,000 km intervals) Incorporates a tune up and oil change, connect to the scan tool and check fault codes, run a live data check to make sure all aspects of the engine managment system are working correctly. Check and top up all fluid levels, check coolant and radiator. Check drive belts, lights, indicators, horn, tyres, steering and suspension. Lube door locks and hinges, bonnet catch and hinges. Remove wheels, check clean and adjust brakes front and rear, rotate wheels front to rear, (if needed). Road test car when finished. All wheel nuts are done up with a torque wrench, not a gun, so they can be undone without causing undue stress. You will also be advised about any further work required. B Service (20,000 km intervals) Incorporates an A Service, plus a coolant flush and brake fluid flush. These two extra services should be done every two years or 20,000kms. COST: $356.50 +GST (includes 2 litres of antifreeze, brake fluid, plus parts as included in the A service.) Back to top

C Service (40,000 km intervals) Includes an A service and B service, plus change transmission oil and diff oil, and repack wheel bearings (where applicable). COST: Please phone for an estimate. Back to top

Diesel Service Change engine oil and oil filter, check and top up all fluid levels. Check and retension drive belts. Lube door locks and hinges. Check condition of cooling system, hoses, antifreeze, radiator and cap. Clean/ replace air filter; replace fuel filter (if required). Grease steering linkages and driveshafts. Remove wheels; check clean and adjust brakes front and rear; rotate wheels. Road test. Advice on any further work required. COST: Usually between $150-$300 + GST. Includes parts and oil. Back to top

Brake Repairs Machine disc rotors, replace disc pads, bleed brakes and inspect brake callipers. COST: Front, around $195 + GST. Rear, Replace rear shoes and cylinders plus machine drums and radius brake shoes. COST: Around $285 + GST. Back to top

Cambelt Replacement Don’t wait for your cambelt to break. It can be very expensive and inconvenient. When it breaks, you stop and can not go again until repaired. Most manufacturers recommend cambelt replacement at 100,000 KM or every five years, which ever occurs first. COST: Varies between makes, from $100.00 upwards. Please ring for a quote. C.V. Boot Replacement Torn C.V. boots cause excessive wear on C.V. joints. The boot keeps water and dirt out, and grease in. COST: Outer C.V. boot replacement, from $89.00 + GST fitted. Back to top

Fuel Injection Cleans fuel injectors and fuel rails, increases performance and works well on all injection systems but very well on turbo Subaru engines. We recommend replacement of fuel filter at the same time. COST: $89.00 + GST + fuel filter. Back to top
